Vietnamese Vegetable Pork Fried Rice Com Chien

Vietnamese fried rice, or 'Com Chien', is a hearty and flavorsome dish that combines wok-seared rice, savory vegetables, succulent shrimp and char siu pork, all tossed in a delightful mix of traditional Southeast Asian spices.   • 12 Cup of shrimps, peeled and deveined Added to
  • 1 Cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas corn) Added to
  • 2 eggs beaten Added to
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped Added to
  • 2 tbls of soy sauce Added to
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce Added to
  • 12 teaspoon of sugar Added to
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil Added to
  • 1 spring onion, chopped Added to

1. Step

Heat up the vegetable oil in a wok or a large frying pan over medium heat.

2. Step

Add the chopped garlic and stir-fry until it turns golden brown.

3. Step

Add the char siu pork and shrimps into the wok. Stir-fry until the shrimp becomes opaque.

4. Step

Introduce the mixed vegetables, stir well and cook for 2 minutes.

5. Step

Push everything to one side of the wok and pour the beaten eggs in the other side. Scramble the eggs until solid.

6. Step

Add in the cooked rice and stir everything together.

7. Step

Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste.

8. Step

Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and the rice is slightly crispy.

9. Step

Garnish with the chopped spring onion and serve immediately.
