Directions
Start by rinsing the salad greens under cold water. To retain their crispness, pat them dry using a kitchen towel or a salad spinner. Coarsely chop them if the leaves are too large. Trust me, it's much easier to deal with and makes every bite enjoyable!
Prepare your honey mustard dressing, if you're making it homemade. For a classic honey mustard dressing, you'll need 1/4 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend them all together until smooth. A handy tip here is to make a batch and store it, this dressing stays fresh for about a week in the refrigerator.
Now, let's assemble this lovely salad. Add your mixed salad greens to a large bowl. Pour over the honey mustard dressing and toss gently to mix until the greens are well coated. I find that using your hands for this makes for a more evenly coated salad, but make sure your hands are clean!
Sprinkle the dried cranberries, chopped pecans, bacon, and crumbled feta cheese over the salad. Keep in mind that the amount of toppings can be adjusted based on individual preference.
Give it one final gentle toss, and voila - your delicious honey mustard salad is ready to be savored.
