Turkey in the Oven
A juicy, perfectly roasted turkey is a classic main dish for any celebration. This delicious dish of turkey, or turkey juicy stuffed and served with any side dishes for Christmas or New Year's Eve will delight your family!
Ingredients
Turkey and spices
- 1 Piece Turkey (approx. 3 kg)
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon pepper
- 2 Bunch rosemary
- 2 Bunch thyme
Filling
- 2 Piece Onions
- 1 Piece Garlic bulb
- 1 Piece lemon
- 100 Gram butter

Directions
First wash and clean the turkey, remove the innards. Rub the outer skin well with salt and pepper and sprinkle with herbs.
Prepare the filling by chopping onions and garlic and mixing them with lemon quarters and butter.
Now fill the turkey by lining the inside with the prepared mixture. Close the opening with toothpicks.
Now bake the prepared turkey in the oven at 180 degrees circulating air for about 1.5 hours. Check the cooking process in between, the meat juice should be clear.
Serve the festive turkey in the oven, carve it at the table and serve the stuffing separately. Serve with side dishes of your choice for the festive meal. Happy holidays!
