Ingredients
- 100 g Candied cherries
- 100 g Candied orange
- 240 g Brown sultanas
- 160 g Red candied fruit
- 100 g Green candied fruit
- 120 g White breadcrumbs
- 225 g margarine
- 150 g brandy
- 120 g plain flour
- 225 g brown sugar
- 100 g sweet chestnuts
- 1 spoon Sweet spices
- 1 spoon cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch salt

Directions
In a bowl, place the eggs. Add the brandy, the candied fruit and the sultanas. Mix very well.
Add the cinnamon, salt, chopped chestnuts and brown sugar. Mix all the ingredients together using a spatula.
Add the white breadcrumbs and mix until a moist and smooth mixture is obtained. Then, add brandy.
Add the margarine and add the sifted flour.
Grease a bowl and vegetable paper. then, pour the batter into the mould and fill it to the top.
Cover the pudding with a circle of vegetable paper and cover it with a sheet of aluminium foil.
Steam the pudding by placing a small bowl in a pot and placing the pudding on top of it. Add water only to generate steam.
Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 4 hours. Remember always to check the water.
Let it cool and unmould. Enjoy the best homemade Christmas pudding.
