A deboned chicken is filled with a delectable stuffing, then carefully rolled and cooked to perfection, Chicken Ballotine is a show-stopping dish that is sure to impress!
Ingredients
- 1 chicken
- salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 egg
- 70 g cooking cream
- 1⁄2 tablespoon butter
- 1 Cup mushrooms

Directions
Divide the chicken. Flatten the chicken breasts with a mallet. Mix salt, pepper, garlic and ginger paste, and rub the meat with it. Marinate for 30 minutes.
Mix the chicken legs and thighs in a food processor. Add salt and an egg. Once blended, add cream and mix slowly. Melt butter in a pan, then add sliced mushrooms and salt. Once cooked, add to the blended meat.
Cover a tray with aluminium and plastic wrap. Put the skin on in a square shape, and put the breasts on top. Put the mixture in a line in the center of the chicken breast square. Roll up the meat tightly using the plastic wrap. Refrigerate for a few hours.
Fry the roll till the skin is crispy, then move the the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes at 180 C. Let rest for 10 minutes, then serve and enjoy.
