Sponge Cake with Pudding
A simple sheet cake with a layer of pudding and a chocolate topping

Sponge cake base
- 3 egg
- 100 g brown sugar
- 50 ml oil
- 200 ml milk
- 250 g Smooth spelt flour
- 1 package baking soda
Pudding cream
- 1 packing caramel pudding
- 400 ml milk
- 25 g brown sugar
- 200 g soft curd cheese

1. Step
We whisk the eggs with sugar until frothy. Blend in the oil and milk. Lastly, we mix in the sifted flour with the baking powder.
2. Step
Often we pour this onto a greased and floured baking tray (or lined with baking paper).
3. Step
Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for approximately 15 minutes.
4. Step
We cook thick pudding from milk, pudding powder, and sugar. Mix in the curd when it has cooled down a bit.
5. Step
Make holes in the baked body with a spoon. Then spread the cream on top.
6. Step
The pudding cream was in a quite low layer, so you can double the cream batch if you want it higher.
7. Step
Finally, you can drizzle the cake with chocolate icing or sprinkle it with coconut.
