Savoury muffin recipe
A delicious dish that I like to serve to my guests on special occasions, this light and tasty savoury muffin.
Ingredients
- 200 g self-rising flour
- 100 g butter
- 4 pc egg
- 1 dl milk
- 1 package baking powder
- 100 g grated cheese
- 1 moka spoon salt
- Fresh herbs to taste (basil, oregano, rosemary)

Directions
Measure out and prepare the ingredients. It's important to use good quality, fresh ingredients, as these have a big influence on the final result.
Mix the eggs and milk in a large bowl with the prepared ingredients.
Add the flour, baking powder and salt, and mix with a hand whisk until smooth. It's best to work calmly here and mix thoroughly so that the inside of the muffins don't get lumpy.
Melt the butter and add it to the dough.
Grate the cheese and mix it into the pasta, along with the fresh herbs of your choice.
Grease the muffin tin with butter and pour the batter into it. It's important not to overcrowd the pre-greased muffin tins, as the batter will still rise during baking.
Bake in a preheated oven on the middle shelf at 180 degrees C, fan-assisted, for 20-25 minutes.
