Savoury Cheese and Bacon Pastry Scrolls

- 2 cups self-rising flour, plus extra for dusting
- 1 Cup natural yoghurt
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 1 Cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 200 gms cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten for glazing
- salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a bowl, combine the self-rising flour and yoghurt. Knead into a dough, adding a little more flour if necessary.
Dust a clean surface with flour and roll the dough into a rectangle about 1cm thick.
Brush the surface with olive oil, then evenly distribute the chopped bacon and grated cheese over the dough, leaving a small edge along one side. Season with salt and pepper.
Starting from the long edge, roll the dough into a log. Slice into 12 equal pieces and place on the prepared baking tray.
Brush the tops of the scrolls with the beaten egg.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden. Serve warm.
