A refreshing and tasty salad made from sauerkraut, which is a perfect accompaniment to any dish. Sauerkraut is full of vitamin C and probiotics, while carrots provide a healthy dose of vitamin A.

1. Step
Wash the cabbage and carrots and grate them into coarse pieces, or chop finely.
2. Step
From the rest of the ingredients, we prepare the marinade. Mix the oil with vinegar, salt, and pepper.
3. Step
Add the marinade to the grated cabbage and carrots and mix everything thoroughly.
4. Step
Let the salad sit for a while so the flavors can blend together.
5. Step
We serve it separately as a light lunch, a side dish with meat, or a part of a buffet.
