Portuguese baked codfish with potatoes recipe

- 4 Cod loins
- 800 g Of potatoes
- 2 Onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 125 ml of olive oil
- 1 glass of white wine
- salt
- pepper
- grated parsley

1. Step
Start by salting the cod and soaking it in cold water for about 48 hours, changing the water at least 3 times a day.
2. Step
Then preheat the oven to 180 C and while you are still waiting, peel the potatoes and cut them into thick slices.
3. Step
In a baking dish, place the potato base and add the julienned onion, the chopped garlic and the bay leaf. Then, add the cod pieces on top, sprinkling them with the olive oil and white wine.
4. Step
Place the dish in the oven and bake the cod for about 40 minutes.
5. Step
Finally, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
