Pasta with tuna and tomato sauce
This simple but tasty recipe for pasta with tuna, tomato sauce and olives became one of my favorites during my holiday in Italy.
Ingredients
- 400 g pasta
- 2 cans tuna
- 1 spoon olive oil
- 1 pcs onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- Pinch of red pepper
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 50 g black olives

Directions
Start by boiling the pasta according to the package instructions. This is a very important step because the pasta should be al dente.
Put the olive oil in a saucepan and add the finely chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onions are glassy.
Then add the tuna and leave it in the pan for about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, a pinch of red pepper, the olives and season with salt and black pepper.
Let the tomato sauce simmer for about 10 minutes to let all the flavours mix nicely.
