No-rise Cakes
I would describe this recipe as SALTY YEAST – NO-YEAST PASTRY, as we bake it straight away without waiting for it to rise.
Ingredients
We need for the journey:
- 250 ml milk
- 1 ts sugar
- 20 g yeast
- 50 ml oil
- 1 ts salt
- 1 ts Tzatziki spice
- 325 g semi-coarse flour
Filling:
- 8 pcs dried tomatoes
- 4 tablespoon Oil from dried tomatoes
- a handful olive
- for egg wash Chilli infused honey

Directions
The dough is often prepared by activating the yeast in warm milk with sugar. Then we add all the ingredients and mix. THE DOUGH DOES NOT NEED TO RISE!!! We immediately roll it out to a thickness of 0.5 mm into a rectangle, spread the filling and roll it up. We cut it into triangles, place it on a baking sheet and brush it with oil (you can also use beaten egg). Bake at 175 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy 😊
