For the Kassel Brussels sprouts casserole, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

2. Step

Boil the Brussels sprouts in salted water for about 10 minutes.

3. Step

While the Brussels sprouts are cooking, cut the Kasseler into small pieces and fry it in a pan.

4. Step

For the sauce, mix the whipping cream, mustard, flour and crushed garlic in a pot and let it come to a quick boil.

Put the previously cooked brussels sprouts and the fried Kasseler into a casserole dish.

6. Step

Pour the sauce over the Brussels sprouts and the Kasseler and sprinkle the grated cheese over it.

Bake the casserole for 20-25 minutes until it is golden brown.

Let the Kassel Brussels sprouts casserole rest briefly before serving it.
