Homemade Brioche
A simple and delicious recipe to prepare soft and tasty homemade brioche, ideal for a sweet and nutritious breakfast.
Ingredients
Dough
- 500 g flour
- 250 ml milk
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 20 g brewer's yeast
- 1 pinch Halls
- 2 unit Eggs

- 1 unit egg
- 2 spoons milk

Directions
In a large bowl, put the flour, make a hole in the center and crumble the yeast. Add the sugar, the lukewarm milk and knead.
Once the yeast has dissolved, add the two eggs, the melted butter, and a pinch of salt.
Knead well until you have a soft and elastic dough. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until the dough has doubled in volume.
After the dough has risen, take it and work it on a floured surface for a few minutes, then shape the brioche and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Let the brioches rise on the baking tray for another 20 minutes. In the meantime, in a small bowl beat an egg with two tablespoons of milk, then brush the brioches with this mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until the brioches become golden. When they are ready, let them cool before serving.
