- 2 lbs Pork belly, thinly sliced
- 1 Cup of Korean BBQ Sauce (Bulgogi)
- 2 tbls of sesame oil
- 2 tbls of soy sauce
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
- 1⁄2 Cup of green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
- salt to taste
For the Korean BBQ Sauce (Bulgogi):
- 1 pear, grated
- 1 onion, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1⁄2 Cup soy sauce
- 3 tbls honey or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper

In a large mixing bowl, combine all BBQ Sauce ingredients and mix well until you obtain a homogenous mixture.
Transfer your pork belly slices into the bowl with the marinade. Mix thoroughly until each slice is well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Once marinated, heat your grill or pan over medium heat. Cook each side of the pork belly slices for about 3-4 minutes until they are nicely browned and caramelized.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with steamed rice and a selection of your favorite Korean side dishes.
