Grilled Ham Steaks with Pineapple Sauce Dinner

Ingredients
- 4 ham steaks, about a half an inch thick each
- 1 canned pineapple slices, drained and juice reserved
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tbls apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with two tablespoons water
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbls vegetable oil

Preheat your grill on medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and the reserved pineapple juice. Stir these together and bring the mixture to a boil.
Lower the heat and add the cornstarch and water mixture to thicken the sauce. Stir it continuously until it becomes syrupy.
Season the ham steaks with salt and black pepper.
Grill the ham steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are heated thoroughly.
While the steaks are on the grill, add the pineapple slices to the grill as well. Grill them until they are heated and have nice grill marks, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Plate the ham steaks and top them with the grilled pineapples, then drizzle with the sauce from the pan.
Serve hot and enjoy!
