Garlic baguette
Juicy garlic baguette with a crispy crust and smooth garlic filling. Perfect as a barbecue snack, at a party or for dinner with your favorite soup.
Ingredients
Cake
- 1 piece baguette
Garlic filling
- 100 g butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1⁄2 pinches salt

Directions
Prepare the baguette. Slice the baguette diagonally, not completely cutting it through. It should fold like an accordion. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
Prepare garlic butter. Melt the butter, add the garlic pressed through a crusher, oregano and salt. Stir.
Fill the baguette. Using a kitchen brush, fill each 'pocket' of the baguette with the garlic butter mixture.
Baking. Wrap the baguette in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then uncover and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the baguette has a golden crust.
Serving. Serve warm, right after baking. Enjoy!
