Filet of turkey in its own sauce
This recipe for turkey fillet in its own sauce is a classic in my kitchen developed over the years.
Ingredients
- 2 fillets of turkey
- 500 ml Poultry broth
- 2 spoons butter
- 2 spoons Flours
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. In the meantime, heat butter in a frying pan and fry the fillets on both sides until golden brown. Season the fillets with salt and pepper.
Put the turkeys into an ovenproof dish, promise chopped garlic and onions. We pour in herbs, remembering that lovage gives a very distinctive flavor. For me, this is a definite asset of this recipe.
Pour broth over everything to 3/4 of the height of the meat and put it in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
While roasting, pour the marinade over the meat so that the fillet remains juicy.
Once the fillets are baked, remove them from the dish, and combine the remaining sauce with flour and cook until it reaches the right consistency.
