Chiko rolls are a typical snack in Australian cuisine. This easy recipe teaches how to make it at home. Don't miss it!
Ingredients
- 2 spoon butter
- 1 Cup green cabbage
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 200 g cooked lamb
- 1 cube chicken stock
- 1 tbs plain flour
- 8 sheet spring roll wrappers
- 2 egg
- vegetable oil

Directions
Melt the butter on medium heat in a frying pan.
Add the sliced onion, shredded cabbage, sliced celery and grated carrot to the frying pan and cook until soft.
Add the lamb and the chicken stock cube and cook until heated through. Add the flour and mix in.
Lay out 1 pastry sheet, then place 3 tbsp of mixture at the bottom centre of the sheet and fold the sides into the middle and roll. Brush the end of the roll with the egg. Repeat the process until using all the mixture.
In a frying pan, add the spring rolls and cook until golden brown.
Remove oil excess and serve. Enjoy it with your favourite sauces.
