  • 4 Vegetarian Sausages Added to
  • 4 hot dog buns Added to
  • 2 tbls olive oil Added to

For the Toppings:

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced Added to
  • 1 Tomato, thinly sliced Added to
  • 4 Pickles, thinly sliced Added to
  • Mustard Sauce, to taste Added to
  • Ketchup, to taste Added to
  • Vegan Mayonnaise, to taste Added to
  • Salt and pepper, to taste Added to

1. Step

First, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the vegetarian sausages and cook them until they are golden brown on each side, approximately 5 minutes per side.

2. Step

While the sausages are cooking, prepare your toppings. Slice your onion, tomato and pickles, set them aside.

3. Step

Once the sausages are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set them aside to cool slightly.

4. Step

Assemble your hot dogs by cutting a slit in each bun (but not all the way through) and placing a sausage inside. Top with sliced onions, tomatoes, pickles, mustard, ketchup, and vegan mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper if desired.

5. Step

Serve your Vegetarian Hot Dogs immediately with a side of potato chips or a fresh salad.
