Delicious Grandma's homemade meatballs
An authentic traditional recipe from the Spanish recipe book, grandma's homemade meatballs. Juicy meatballs full of flavor that will delight children and adults. Perfect to share with family or friends.
Ingredients
- 500 g Of minced meat (half beef, half pork)
- 1 egg
- 2 slices Crustless sliced bread
- 50 ml of milk
- Fresh parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- Flour (to coat the meatballs)
- 200 ml of white wine
- 2 Medium onions
- 500 ml Of homemade tomato sauce
- Extra virgin olive oil

Directions
In a bowl, mix the minced meat with the beaten egg, the bread previously soaked in milk and drained, the garlic and finely chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Knead until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Form the meatballs to the desired size, dredge them in flour and shake to remove the excess. Set aside.
In a frying pan with hot oil, fry the meatballs until golden brown, remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add the chopped onion until golden brown.
Add the white wine and reduce by half.
Add the tomato sauce and the meatballs and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
Serve hot, sprinkling fresh parsley on top if desired.
