- 3⁄4 Cup water
- 2 tablespoon maize starch
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt

Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, white pepper, and water. Put additional flour in another bowl. Cover the fillets first in flour, then the batter. Deep fry at 375 F till golden. Serve with chips and enjoy!
