Ingredients
- 227 g Soft Unsalted Butter
- 1⁄3 Cup sugar
- 23⁄4 cups plain flour
- 2 tablespoon corn flour
- 1⁄3 Cup milk powder
- 1⁄4 spoon salt
- 1 yolk
- 1 spoon vanilla essence
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon milk
- 500 g pineapple paste

Beat the butter and sugar together until it becomes pale yellow. Add the egg yolk and vanilla essence.

Remove the bowl from the mixer. Through a sifter, add flour, corn flour, milk powder, and salt. Mix together with a spatula, and once combined knead the dough by hand.

Put the dough in cling wrap, and let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Heat the pineapple paste on low heat with 1 tbsp butter. Mix till soft.

Let cool to room temperature, then roll small balls from the paste.

Take your dough from the refrigerator. Knead it for about 2 minutes. Prepare a pineapple tart by rolling a small ball from the dough, then shape it into a bowl, add one pineapple ball and cover it with the dough. Roll once again into a ball shape.

After making as many tarts as you can, place them on a baking pan with baking paper underneath. Make an egg wash from an egg and milk, and cover the tarts with it.
