Chicken breast with broccoli cream
I recently made this chicken breast with broccoli cream for the first time and thought I'd share my experience with you. The combination of spicy, creamy broccoli and beautifully cooked chicken breasts is a great combination of flavours, and I always make sure that the chicken breasts are well cooked but not dry.
Ingredients
- 4 pc chicken breast
- 1 Head broccoli
- 2 dl heavy cream
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, pepper paprika

Directions
Start by preparing the broccoli: wash and cut into roses. Then cook in salted water until tender, which takes about 10 minutes. It is important here not to cook the broccoli too much, as it will sink even more later.
While the broccoli is cooking, prepare the chicken breasts. Wash and dry with paper towels and cut into thin strips. This will make it easier to work with and will ensure that all parts of the chicken breast are cooked evenly.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic. Fry it a little to intensify the flavour of the garlic. Once the garlic is browned, add the chicken breast. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. It is recommended here to start with less salt and then add more to taste later.
When all sides of the chicken breast are nicely browned, pour the cream over the chicken. Then stir in the drained, cooked broccoli until tender. Stir through the ingredients and leave to simmer over a low heat.
When the cream has thickened a little, taste the dish and add more seasoning if necessary. Serve with fresh baguette or rice.
