Everyone's favorite summer side dish, this classic corn on the cob recipe is simple, tasty and incredibly easy to prepare. Fresh, juicy and slightly sweet corns steamed and served with melted butter and a sprinkle of salt.
Ingredients
- 4 sweet corn cobs, husks and silks removed
- Water, for boiling
- 4 tbls of unsalted butter
- Salt, to taste

Wash the corn well and put it into a large pot, then fill the pot with water until the corn is fully submerged.
Heat the pot over high heat and bring the water to a boil.
Reduce the heat to medium and let the corn simmer for about 20 minutes or until the kernels are tender.
When the corn is done, remove it from the pot and let it drain.
While the corn is still hot, spread 1 tablespoon of butter over each cob.
Sprinkle with salt to taste.
Serve the corn on a platter while it is still warm.
