Best Crumble Topping Pie Recipe

Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 5 cups of mixed fruit (such as sliced apples, pears berries or peaches)
- 1⁄4 Cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
For the Topping:
- 1 Cup of all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 Cup of rolled oats
- 1⁄4 Cup of light brown sugar
- 1⁄4 Cup of granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon of salt
- 1⁄2 Cup of unsalted butter, melted and cooled
Optional Garnish:
- Whipped cream or ice cream

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the filling. In a large bowl, combine the mixed fruit, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
Spread the fruit mixture evenly in a 9-inch (23cm) baking dish.
Prepare to top. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt.
Add the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the topping over the fruit mixture, covering it completely and evenly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is tender.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Garnish with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
