Baked stuffed peppers with ham and cheese
Simple baked stuffed peppers with ham and cheese that you can prepare for dinner.
Ingredients
- 7 a piece Large peppers
- 400 g Hams
- 400 g cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 300 g rice

Directions
First, cook the rice according to the package instructions. But I recommend to cook it shorter.
In the meantime, wash the peppers, separate the top end with the stem and remove the core. Leave a hole in the pepper large enough for easy filling.
Cut the ham and cheese into small pieces. Then in a bowl, mix the ham, cheese, cooked rice, crushed garlic, salt and pepper. This mixture will help the peppers take on a stronger flavour when roasted.
Then fill each pepper with the prepared mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
Pour olive oil over the peppers. It gives the peppers a great taste and a beautiful golden colour.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Check that the peppers are soft and that the filling is not too dry.
Serve the finished peppers while still warm.
