- 4 fresh flounder fillets
- 2 tbls of unsalted butter
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley leaves (chopped, for garnish)

Directions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Rinse the flounder fillets and pat dry with a paper towel.
Place the flounder fillets in a baking dish that's been coated with a thin layer of butter.
In a small saucepan, melt the rest of the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic to the butter and sauté until fragrant.
Drizzle the butter and garlic over the flounder fillets. Then, pour over the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Season with salt and ground black pepper according to preference.
Bake the flounder in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the fish is flaky and opaque.
Garnish with fresh parsley leaves before serving.
