Bake custard croissants in just 20 minutes
The pudding crescents are a real treat. I made them last Christmas and they were a big hit with my family. They are easy to make and only take 20 minutes. They are moist, sweet and absolutely irresistible. I recommend you give this recipe a try - you definitely won't be disappointed!

Directions
To bake the custard powder recipe, preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking tray with baking paper. Check the exact temperature with an oven thermometer to make sure your oven is not too hot or too cold.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and custard powder.
Add the softened butter and egg yolks and mix well. I like to use an electric hand mixer to make sure everything is thoroughly mixed.
Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and place in the fridge for approx. 15 minutes.
Now shape the chilled dough into small croissants and spread them evenly on the prepared baking tray.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until they have turned a nice golden brown color. Keep a close eye on them from minute 10 onwards to make sure they don't burn.
Leave the custard croissants to cool briefly and dust with powdered sugar.
