Combine all the ingredients. On a flour-dusted surface, beat the dough with a rolling pan. Once flat, fold over, and repeat. Cover in plastic wrap and chill in fridge for 20 minutes.

Melt lard or oil in a pan. Roll out the dough on a flour-dusted surface super thin. Cut into long strips, about 4 cm wide.

Cut a slit in the middle of a strip lengthwise. Fold one end through the slit. Repeat for all strips.

Fry the angel wings for 10 seconds on each side. Let them cool on a paper towel. Dust with sugar and enjoy!
