Start by removing the husks from the tomatillos and rinse them thoroughly to remove the sticky residue. After cleaning, cut them in half.

Place the tomatillos, Jalapeño peppers, garlic, and onion to a baking tray and broil them in the oven until tomatillos are roasted. It will usually take about 7-10 minutes.
