1. Step

First, pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Take a blender, add almonds, desiccated coconut, and ¼ tbsp. Sea salt. Blend these ingredients until finely powdered. Add ½ cup dates (soaked in boiling water to soften), 2 tbsp. coconut oil, and ½ tbsp. vanilla extract and blend again until combined.

2. Step

Pour this mixture smoothly onto a lined baking tray, spread it with a spoon, and bake for 15 minutes. Once it is baked, take it out and then leave to cool down.

3. Step

To make caramel, blend 1 cup dates (soaked in boiling water), ½ cup coconut milk, ½ cup almond butter, 2 tbsp. coconut oil, ½ tbsp. vanilla extract, and ¼ tbsp. sea salt. Spread the caramel over the cooled mixture in the baking tray.

4. Step

For the chocolate topping, prepare a mixture of ¼ cup almond butter, ¼ cup coconut oil, 2 tbsp. cocoa powder, and 1 tbsp. maple syrup (you can also use honey). Pour the mixture onto the caramel.

5. Step

Leave it inside the freezer for 60 minutes before serving. Store the slice inside the freezer or fridge.
