Simple EVOO Olive Oil Sauce
This EVOO Sauce is a recipe inspired by Italian heritage, where Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) is a staple in every kitchen.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
- 4 cloves of finely minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of red chili flakes
- salt to taste
- A handful of finely chopped fresh parsley
- Finely grated zest of one lemon

Directions
Start by heating up the EVOO in a saucepan over low heat.
Once the oil is warm, add in the finely minced garlic and let it simmer gently without letting it brown, for about 2-3 minutes.
Add the red chili flakes into the pan and continue to simmer gently for another 2-3 minutes.
Season the sauce with salt to taste, stirring well to dissolve the salt.
Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the fresh parsley and lemon zest, ensuring they are well distributed throughout the sauce.
Let the EVOO sauce cool a bit before serving as it tends to be very hot right off the stove. The sauce can be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to one week.
