Simple Crispy Chocolate Crackle Recipe
Chocolate Crackles aren't just fun to say – they're fun to make, too! These no-bake, chocolaty, crispy rice cereal treats are a perfect bite-size delight suitable for all ages. They're super easy and quick, making them a fantastic option for parties, picnics, or simply as a dessert at home.
Ingredients
- 4 cups of crispy rice cereal
- 1⁄2 Cup of powdered sugar
- 1 Cup of dark chocolate chips
- 1⁄4 Cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 Cup of unsalted butter
- 3⁄4 Cup of desiccated coconut
- 3 tbls of golden syrup or honey

Directions
Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a bowl over simmering water or in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Stir the golden syrup or honey into the melted chocolate and butter mixture.
In another large bowl, combine the crispy rice cereal, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and desiccated coconut.
Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal mixture. Stir until well coated.
Line a mini muffin pan with paper cases.
Spoon the mixture into the paper cases.
Refrigerate the chocolate crackles for at least 1 hour or until firm.
