Ingredients
- 500 gms of gnocchi
- 2 cups of chopped mushrooms
- 1 Cup of heavy cream
- 2 cups of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbls of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh thyme
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
In a large frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until they are browned and crispy.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook until it is fragrant, about a minute.
Add the heavy cream, Parmesan, thyme, salt, and black pepper, and stir until everything is well combined and the sauce is warmed through.
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Drain well.
Add the cooked gnocchi to the pan with the mushroom sauce and stir until all the gnocchi are coated in the sauce.
Transfer the gnocchi and mushroom sauce to a baking dish and sprinkle with additional Parmesan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
