Pumpkin puree Thermomix
This is one of my favorite recipes for a healthy and delicious side dish, Thermomix pumpkin puree. I am always fascinated by how quick and easy it is to make with the Thermomix. Every time I make it, I love the vibrant color and smooth texture it leaves on the plate.
Ingredients
- 1 pumpkin
- 3 clove garlic
- 40 grams of olive oil
- salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 100 grams Of water
- A little nutmeg

Directions
To make the pumpkin skin easier to remove, I would recommend first peeling and dicing the pumpkin. The size doesn't matter too much since we are going to mash it at the end.
Place the diced pumpkin in the Thermomix mixing bowl, add the garlic cloves, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Blend it all for 30 seconds on speed 5.
Add the olive oil and program the Thermomix for 10 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1. I always prefer to use olive oil as it gives a better flavor to the pumpkin.
Add the water and cook for 20 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
When the time is up, check that the pumpkin is cooked. If it is not, you can add more cooking time.
Puree the cooked ingredients for 1 minute on speed 5-10. Wait a few seconds before opening the glass of the Thermomix, as the puree will be very hot.
