Perfect Easy Canned Tuna Mayonnaise
Tuna Mayo is a classic, simple, and hearty dish that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Combining the hearty protein of canned tuna with the creaminess of mayonnaise, this dish is typically served on sandwiches but can also be used as a filling for baked potatoes, or as a dip for vegetables.
Ingredients
- 2 cans of tuna in water or oil (drained)
- 5 tbls of mayonnaise
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (optional)
- 2 tbls of chopped parsley (optional)

Drain the cans of tuna thoroughly.
In a bowl, combine the drained tuna and chopped onion.
Add mayonnaise, starting with 4 tablespoons and then more if needed for creaminess.
Add salt and pepper to taste. If available, add a squeeze of lemon juice. This is optional but can enhance the flavor.
Mix well until all of the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Add chopped parsley for extra color if you wish.
The Tuna Mayo is now ready to be served as a sandwich filler, a baked potato topper, or as a dip. For best flavor, let it chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
