- 4 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbls all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder

1. Step
In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Take a spoonful of the potato mixture and shape it into a flat patty, about 1/4 inch thick. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

Carefully place the patties in heated skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Cook the hash browns for about 5 minutes on each side, until they turn golden brown and crispy.
