Pear pudding
It is a traditional Czech delicacy made from pears. Povidla is a great addition to baking or just on bread.

- 2 kg pear
- 1 kg sugar
- 1 pcs lemon
- A pinch of cinnamon

1. Step
Wash the pears, peel, core and cut into smaller pieces.
2. Step
Place the pears in a large saucepan, add the sugar and the juice of one lemon.
3. Step
Bring to a boil and cook over low heat until the pears are completely cooked. Stir continuously.
4. Step
When the pears are cooked, add a pinch of cinnamon and stir.
5. Step
Simmer the pears for about an hour until thickened.
6. Step
Fill the finished pudding into sterilized jars and close well.
