Oatmeal cookies with raisins
This recipe is one of my favorite oatmeal cookie recipes and I always find them delicious and nutritious. The cookies are crispy and sweet and are perfect for a snack or breakfast.
Ingredients
- 200 g oat flakes
- 150 g Wheat flour
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg
- 1 Teaspoon baking soda
- 1 Pinch salt
- 100 g raisins

Directions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat. Be careful not to let it brown!
Mix the rolled oats, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together thoroughly in a bowl. Add the melted butter and egg to the mixture. Mix everything well until a sticky dough forms. Finally, add the raisins and knead the dough again. Form small balls with your hand or a spoon and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
My tip: Make sure there is enough space between the cookies, as they will expand when baking.
Bake the oatmeal cookies for about 15 minutes or until they are golden brown. Even if they still look soft, you shouldn't leave them in the oven any longer, as they will harden as they cool!
