Lemon Marmalade
A delicious spread that transforms lemon into a sweet and slightly bitter jam. Perfect to spread on a piece of toasted bread or to use as a filling for sweets.
Ingredients
- 2 kg lemon
- 1 kg sugar
- 1 l water

Cut the lemon in half and remove the seeds. Cut the pulp into small pieces.
In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the citrons and cook for 1 hour.
Remove the lemon from the water and set them aside.
Add the sugar to the water and boil until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add the lemon to the sugar syrup and cook for another hour, or until the jam has reached the desired consistency.
Let the jam cool before putting it in sterilized glass jars.
