How to make Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge
This decadent chocolate fudge recipe uses only five ingredients and is super simple to make. Opulent and rich, each bite of this sweet treat melts in your mouth and leaves you craving for more. This homemade fudge is a perfect snack for a little indulgence or gift-giving at holiday seasons.
Ingredients
- 400 gms of sweetened condensed milk
- 500 gms of high-quality dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tbls of unsalted butter

Line an 8*8 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to lift the fudge out.
Chop the chocolate into small pieces for easier and faster melting.
In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, dark chocolate, vanilla extract, salt, and butter.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate and butter are fully melted and the mixture is smooth. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly using a spatula.
Let it cool at room temperature for about 2 hours the fudge is firm.
Use the overhang parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into 1-inch squares.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
