  • 12 Cup of Honey or Maple Syrup Added to
  • 12 Cup of Coconut oil or unsalted butter Added to
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed Added to
  • 12 Cup of Dried fruit or nuts (Optional) Added to
  • 12 teaspoon of Cinnamon (Optional) Added to

1. Step

Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F. Grease a 20cm x 30cm baking tin and line with baking parchment.

2. Step

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and wholemeal flour.

3. Step

In a separate bowl, mix the mashed bananas, honey or maple syrup, and melted coconut oil or butter.

4. Step

Pour the wet banana mixture into the oat and flour mixture, stirring well to make sure all the oats are coated.

5. Step

If using, stir in the dried fruit or nuts and cinnamon.

6. Step

Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking tin.

7. Step

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and firm to touch.

Allow to cool in the tin before slicing into squares or bars.

Once cooled, store the healthy oat slices in airtight containers to enjoy throughout the week.
