Grilled BBQ Tofu Skewers with Spicy Sriracha Sauce
Bring an amazing change to your BBQ menu with these delightful grilled tofu skewers marinated in a spicy-sweet combo of Sriracha, soy and honey. Goes great as a side dish for your pool party or a casual home dinner or as a tasty appetizer. They're flavorful, protein-packed and absolutely satisfying!
Ingredients
- 450 gms of firm tofu
- 1⁄2 Cup of soy sauce
- 1⁄4 Cup of sriracha sauce
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
- 2 tbls of honey
- 4 bamboo skewers, soaked in water

Directions
Drain and press the tofu to remove as much moisture as possible. Cut the tofu into large cubes.
In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey.
Put the tofu cubes in the marinade. Ensure all cubes are well-coated. Marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
Heat your grill to medium heat. While it heats, thread the tofu cubes onto the soaked skewers.
Grill the skewers for 6-8 minutes on each side, until the tofu is well-grilled and the edges are slightly crisp.
