Elderberry Jam
Cook a homemade elderberry jam that tastes fantastic.
Ingredients
- 30 pcs elderberry flowers
- 1 kg sugar
- 2 l water
- 2 pcs lemon

In the first phase, cut off the base flowers from the stems and thoroughly clean them.
Prepare a large pot, into which you will put elderflowers, sugar, water, and lemons sliced into pieces.
Let the mixture steep for at least 24 hours under the cover.
The next day, strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. Discard the elderflowers and lemons.
Put the mixture back into the pot and cook until it gets the consistency of jam. Stir regularly during cooking.
Fill the ready-made jam still hot into sterilized jars. Close the jars and let them cool down.
Store in a dark place
