Eggnog dessert like tiramisu
This recipe is one of my absolute favorites and a quintessentially German dessert specialty. When I want to treat guests or simply prepare a sweet treat for myself and my family, this light and fluffy eggnog dessert is always a hit. It's creamy, light and the eggnog flavor gives it a unique touch similar to tiramisu.

Directions
To prepare the eggnog dessert, first beat the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Make sure that the sugar is completely dissolved, otherwise your dessert could turn crystalline.
Stir the mascarpone into the egg yolk mixture. You need to work it in really well so that there are no lumps. If you like, you can also use a hand mixer here.
Now add the eggnog to your mixture and stir well again. The eggnog gives this dessert its unique taste.
Now it's time for the ladyfingers. Place a layer of your sponge fingers in a baking dish. If they don't fit perfectly, that's fine. You can simply flatten them.
Then pour a layer of your eggnog cream over the cookies. Repeat these steps until your ingredients are used up. Make sure you end up with a layer of cream.
Leave your dessert to stand in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving. It's hard to wait, but it's worth it!
Just before serving, sprinkle your eggnog dessert with the cocoa. It not only gives your dessert a beautiful appearance, but also a light, delicious chocolate flavor.
And your eggnog dessert is ready! I promise you'll want to make it again and again.
