Easy Savoury Curried Mince

Ingredients
- 500 gms minced meat (beef, lamb or chicken)
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tbls curry powder
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tbls tomato paste
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 Cup frozen peas
- salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Heat oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and saute for about 2-3 minutes.
Add the minced meat to the pan and cook.
In a small bowl, mix together curry, ground turmeric, ground cumin, ground coriander, and paprika to create a curry paste.
Add the curry paste to the skillet and stir in.
Add the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and frozen peas to the pan. Let cook for 4 minutes.
Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley (optional).
Accompany the dish with steamed rice or naan bread for a complete meal.
