Easy Homemade Barbeque Rib Marinade

Ingredients
- 1 Cup soy sauce
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 Cup apple cider vinegar
- 4 cloves of crushed garlic
- 2 tbls of fresh grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of chili flakes optional

Directions
Mix the brown sugar with the soy sauce in a large bowl until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Stir in the apple cider vinegar.
Add the crushed garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, onion powder, cumin and optional chili flakes. Mix well until all ingredients are well integrated.
Pour the marinade into a large zip lock bag or a container. Add the ribs, making sure all pieces are covered with the marinade. Seal or cover the container.
Refrigerate and let the ribs marinade for at least 2 hours, but ideally overnight for maximum flavor infusion.
Cook the ribs as you desire. Grill, bake or roast depend on your preference, remember to occasionally baste with the marinade for added flavor.
