Directions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a square baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, crush the Weet-Bix biscuits into fine crumbs using your hands or a food processor.
Add the rolled oats, desiccated coconut, self-raising flour, and brown sugar to the bowl of crushed Weet-Bix. Stir well to combine.
Pour in the melted butter and golden syrup, then mix until all the ingredients are evenly moistened and form a crumbly mixture.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, pressing it down firmly and evenly with the back of a spoon or your hands.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on top.
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the baking dish.
Once the slice has cooled, drizzle the melted dark chocolate on the top, spreading it out evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
Once the chocolate is set, remove the slice from the dish and cut it into portions.
Serve and enjoy!
