- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 3 tbls tahini
- 3 tbls lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Water, as needed
- Optional toppings: olive oil, chopped parsley paprika

1. Step
In a food processor or blender, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin powder, paprika, and pinch of salt.

Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. If too thick, add water until desired consistency is reached.

Taste and adjust the seasoning.

Transfer and create a well in the center. Drizzle olive oil over the top and sprinkle with chopped parsley and paprika, if desired.
